I Love You Ted Leo part II

Despite my proclamation last night of quitting my job first thing in the morning in order to follow Ted Leo and the Pharmacists for the rest of the summer... I am here (tired and a tiny bit crabby) trudging through the massive amount of work before me albeit with my copy of Tyranny of Distance on repeat (repeat repeat repeat).

Man that guy can rock.

Again – why do I have to work? I would love to see them almost every night. I really don’t think I could get tired of it. Hey Ted! I’ll sell your merch – even for The Orange Band (who weren’t my favorite) and Aloha (who made great homemade tshirts with screen printed elephants… I would have bought one except I only brought $5 with just incase Aesthetic Apparatus were there – and they were! Beautiful poster guys… now I just have to work on framing the odd shaped sucker.)

Hello Friends and Others (whoever you might be…)

The sun was out this weekend. I might be speaking too soon in announcing this (as the dark clouds roll over once more), but it is now officially Kick Ball season. I've had several requests to get the ball rolling and now I actually have to dig around my apartment (or possibly car) to actually find the kickball.

As always there are no leagues (we're much too casual for that), there is no cost (unless we lose the kickball), EVERYONE is welcome and should be encouraged to attend and of course there will be grilling.

No dates have been set yet (I'd like to have our kickoff the week of June 13th.) Let me know which nights of the week work best for you. Tentatively we'll be starting around 6:30ish in the huge park next to the MIA. More details will follow (based on what y'all have to say).
